Before you ask
What games can I play on it?
Original Game Boy Advance cartridges, plus Game Boy and Game Boy Color cartridges. That's 1,500+ games, from Pokémon and Zelda to Mario Kart and Metroid. If paired with an EZFlash Omega Definitive Edition Flashcart, it can even play NES games.
How long does the battery last?
It runs on a brand-new FunnyPlaying New Volta 1040mAh battery (the original was 600mAh), good for around 4 hours per charge depending on screen brightness. Recharge it with a USB-A to C or USB-C to C cable.
How much better is the IPS screen than the original?
Night and day. The original SP screen is dim and washed out. FunnyPlaying's M2 IPS panel is backlit, sharp and colourful, and you can adjust the brightness.
I already have an old SP. Can you mod mine instead?
Yes. Our repair and upgrade service gives your own console the same refurbishment, IPS screen and USB-C treatment.
What if something goes wrong?
Every console comes with a 30 day warranty. If anything stops working because of our build, we'll repair it.
How long until it arrives?
Ready-made sets are already built and tested, so there's no build wait. We'll message you as soon as yours is on its way.
Can I choose my own colours instead?
Yes. If you'd like to pick your own shell, lens and buttons, design a custom SP here. Custom builds take 7-14 business days, subject to shipping times.
